Big Business Move: Infibeam Sells Online Platform to Rediff
Infibeam Avenues sold its e-commerce platform business to subsidiary Rediff.com for ₹800.39 crores through a slump sale. The deal involves ₹400 crores cash and ₹400 crores in shares, increasing Infibeam's ownership in Rediff from 54.1% to 82.7%. This strategic move allows both companies to focus on their core strengths.
